The final five designs have been selected for the LEGO® Group’s BrickLink Designer Program Series 5 (BDP5), which turns fan creations into products through crowdfunding under the BrickLink brand, a parts database and marketplace.
What is the BrickLink Designer Program?
While similar to LEGO® Ideas in that it commercializes fan creations, the BrickLink Designer Program often produces categories that are less likely to be adopted by LEGO® Ideas, such as medieval-themed works and non-licensed building designs.
Crowdfunding Scheduled for June 2025
The crowdfunding (sales event) for BrickLink Designer Program Series 5 is scheduled to start at 8:00 AM Pacific Time on June 3, 2025. The time is subject to change.
If more than 3,000 orders are received through crowdfunding, the product will be sold under the BrickLink brand. It is almost certain that all designs will be commercialized, as it is rare for orders not to reach 3,000.
Unique designs, different from typical LEGO® brick products, have been selected, making them a must-see for LEGO® brick fans!

The Thieves of Tortuga
Designer: Krackenator | 3,998 pieces | Project Page
One of the safest places for pirates to hide from the Imperial soldiers, it has become a chaotic town where anything goes. Tortuga is full of stolen cargo and hidden details everywhere you look.
Isla Tortuga was an island in Haiti famous as a pirate island.
Mushroom Village
Designer: JonasKramm | 2,427 pieces | Project Page
Hidden among leaves and flowers lies the Mushroom Village, where little Forest Elves have found themselves a home.
The same designer’s Mushroom series makes its second appearance in crowdfunding.
Antique Shop
Designer: ThatOneGuySteve | 1,912 pieces | Project Page
Welcome to the Antique Shop! Located in the heart of a small town, this charming Antique Shop is sure to have exactly what you’re looking for.
A simple building that could be found in a European countryside town, the antique shop features an old-style truck that perfectly complements the shop.
Adventure in Transylvania
Designer: SleeplessNight | 4,000 pieces | Project Page
The luxurious train, bound for the Middle East, crawled to an unwelcome halt amidst the shadowed reaches of Transylvania. The locomotive, ill-equipped for the treacherous ascents of the Carpathians, had proven too feeble. The stranded passengers, now marooned in the forlorn village of Bucarești, awaited a new engine to pull them from their predicament.
Transylvania is a place deeply tied to vampire legends, and this work also features a vampire castle as its theme.
Popcorn Wagon
Designer: Mictur | 577 pieces | Project Page
Can you smell the popcorn? Can you hear it popping? Stop by and taste the delicious popcorn or try some other yummy treats!
A vehicle for selling popcorn. It is designed like an old carriage rather than a modern food truck. I wonder if such wagons exist in America.
