On August 8, 2024, the LEGO® Group and Asmodee announced a multi-year partnership to create new play experiences together.
This collaboration will offer high-quality LEGO® board games for all types of players, allowing families and LEGO® fans worldwide to enjoy new ways of playing within the LEGO® universe. Following the first collaboration, “Monkie Palace,” more new board games co-developed by the LEGO® Group and Asmodee are expected to be released.
Establishment of Dotted Games
The newly established studio, “Dotted Games,” will be responsible for nurturing and developing all games under the partnership between the LEGO® Group and Asmodee. Additionally, it will focus on leveraging the diversity of LEGO® bricks to explore new play possibilities.
A seasoned team with decades of experience and numerous awards in the board game industry will lead the effort, aiming to deliver the best LEGO® board games to fans and families.

Monkie Palace: The First Collaborative Work
The first title, “Monkie Palace,” is a product that offers an amazing play experience by integrating LEGO® bricks with a board game.
It is a jungle-themed game for 2 to 4 players, allowing families of all ages to enjoy cooperation and competition while building a monkey palace with LEGO® bricks.
“Monkie Palace” is scheduled to be launched worldwide following its debut at the Essen Spiel exhibition in Germany on October 3, 2024.
Brick Like This!
Following “Monkie Palace,” Dotted Games is developing a family-friendly party game called “Brick Like This!”
The keywords are teamwork and communication, using LEGO® bricks. It is designed for 2 to 8 players aged 7 and up, featuring simple rules that anyone can join in.
In the coming months, we can look forward to further exciting announcements regarding board games from the partnership between the LEGO® Group and Asmodee.
