A contest has begun on LEGO® Ideas, a platform that solicits creations from LEGO® brick fans, to gather “eerie creations.”
Content of Requested Works
This contest is seeking eerie creations to be used in four LEGO® islands that will be gradually unveiled in the game “LEGO® Fortnite” in 2024. Reference URL: LEGO® Island Information @Fortnite Official Blog
Unleash the evil and eerie ideas within you and submit your most terrifying and creepy LEGO® brick creations that will send chills down everyone’s spine, such as eerily beautiful structures, ominous plants, and evil landmarks. However, keep in mind that children will be playing, so be careful not to make it a nightmarish creation that forgets the element of fun.
Excellent Works Will Appear in the Game
While grand prizes and runner-up prizes will be awarded to the winners of this contest, outstanding works will also appear in the game with the creator’s name, available for players to use.
Entry Conditions
The following conditions must be met to enter the contest:
Main Entry Requirements
- Use only standard LEGO® bricks: Technic and Duplo parts are prohibited
- Minifigures, mini-dolls, stickers, decorated bricks, and translucent bricks are prohibited
- Within 32×32 studs, height within 25 bricks
- 16 years old and above
- AI-generated images prohibited
- Use of copyrighted elements prohibited
- Original new work: Entry with works posted online or participated in other contests is prohibited
- 4 to 10 images can be submitted. It’s desirable to take photos from all angles to showcase the features, functions, and details of the work
- Images must not contain text, logos, people, or animals
- Slight image editing with Photoshop etc. is allowed
- Title and brief description required
- Entries using digital data such as studio are also acceptable

Event Schedule
The event schedule is as follows:

- Submission deadline: October 29, 2024, 6:00 AM
- Voting period: User voting from October 31 to November 7, 2024, to select 15 works
- Judging period: The operating team will decide on 1 grand prize winner and 2 runners-up by November 12, 2024
- Results announcement: Results are scheduled to be announced by November 18, 2024
