The LEGO(R) Asian Festival is a series themed around the Chinese Spring Festival/Lunar New Year, with two new products released simultaneously at the beginning of each year.
These are the 2024 versions: The Joy of Homecoming and the Lucky Dragon.

Similarly, according to the post, the 2025 LEGO(R) Asian Festival is predicted to release “Lantern (80116)” and “Good Fortune (80117)”.
The English name for 80116 Lantern is expected to be “Trotting Lantern”. Since “trot” typically refers to a horse’s gait or a quick pace, it might be a lantern carried during Lunar New Year celebrations. Alternatively, it could be a playset featuring people walking with lanterns[1].
As for 80117 Good Fortune, it’s honestly unclear from the product name what kind of set it will be. However, it might feature a model incorporating the Chinese character for “fortune” (福). It could possibly be an upside-down “福” sign, which is commonly seen in China. If so, it might be designed as a wall-hanging or a stand-alone display piece[1][3].
Interestingly, the tradition of hanging the “福” character upside down stems from a wordplay in Chinese. The phrase “福到” (fú dào, “fortune arrives”) sounds the same as “福倒” (fú dǎo, “fortune upside-down”). Thus, an inverted “福” symbolizes the wish for fortune to arrive.
However, at this point, especially regarding 80117 Good Fortune, the content is entirely speculative. We’ll provide updates as soon as additional information becomes available.
