The LEGO® Group’s official online shop, ‘LEGO® Shop Official Store,’ has officially announced a new LEGO® Super Mario product called ‘Super Mario World: Mario and Yoshi.’ The release date is set for October 1, 2024, and pre-orders have simultaneously begun.

The model is based on Yoshi and Mario riding on his back, as they appear in the Super Nintendo game “Super Mario World” released in 1990.
“Super Mario World” is also the game where Yoshi, who has now become one of the main characters in the “Super Mario” series, made his first appearance.
This set is a pixel art-style display model of Mario and Yoshi, adopting the design directly from the Super Nintendo screen.

Mario and Yoshi (71438) will be the fifth adult-oriented LEGO® set in the “LEGO® Super Mario” series, targeted at ages 18 and up.
