The LEGO® Group’s official online store has unveiled the “Blacktron Renegade (10355)”, a new product launching January 1st, 2025, on their international shop.
The newly announced “Blacktron Renegade” is a revival of the “Renegade (6954)”, which was the flagship spaceship of the original Blacktron product line. The word Renegade means someone who rebels or defects.
About Blacktron
LEGO® Blacktron, introduced in 1987, was a popular space theme that pioneered the concept of factions in LEGO® Space sets. During that era, LEGO Space featured three factions: Blacktron (villains), Space Police (good guys), and Futuron (civilians).
Blacktron sets were known for their modular interchangeability, allowing users to remix spaceship, vehicle, and base parts to create endless new configurations. This modular concept continues to influence modern LEGO® products.
