ANCIENT GREEK TEMPLE
With 10,000 supports, it has been confirmed to advance to the 2nd LEGO(R)IDEAS Commercialization Review in 2022. ANCIENT GREEK TEMPLE: LEGO(R)IDEAS
A temple representative of ancient Greek architecture that began around the 7th century BC. Speaking of historical Lego (R) blocks, the Middle Ages and pirates are especially popular, but buildings from BC that are much older than that.
This temple is not the state of modern ruins, but the building design of the time when it was actually used.
The number of pieces is about 2,500, and it is set as a temple dedicated to the goddess Athena built in the nature of a small island in the Aegean Sea.
While incorporating elements of Greece’s most famous Parthenon, the main model for this work is the Temple of Aphaas on the island of Aegina.
What is the possibility of commercialization?
Designer HP_Brixxter created a history-themed building Currently exhibiting a large number of works.
His ancient Greek temple has a very similar design to this work, and it entered the first review in 2021, but was unfortunately rejected. The appearance of this work and the previous work are almost the same, but the interior design has been slightly changed.
Ancient Greece is a very interesting era, but a theme that has never been made into a LEGO (R) set. With such a background, the author who is a history lover is also eager to commercialize it.
However, although ancient, Greek temples are definitely religious facilities that enshrine gods. In principle, religious products are not allowed to be made into Lego (R) sets, so I think it will be difficult to pass the examination this time as well.
