The helmets worn by the French dance music unit DAFT PUNK. The unit disbanded on February 22, 2021, 28 years after its formation in 1993.
The curvature of Guy-Manuel’s helmet, which the designer said was the most challenging, uses the windshield parts of the UCS version Slave I released in 2015.
Can Pass the Review?
Designer eliot.obrien is a big fan of Daft Punk.
Several sets designed with real musicians using LEGO (R) bricks have been released so far.
The Beatles, Elvis Presley, and Rolling Stones have been released as musician-related sets from LEGO (R) Art. The Beatles Yellow Submarine is also on sale from LEGO (R) IDEAS. They are legendary musicians whose name everyone knows.
BTS Dynamite, which is scheduled to be released in March 2023, is not as famous as these legends, but compared to Daft Punk, BTS has a much healthier image.
Daft Punk is a fairly famous musician in dance music, but it seems that it will not be easy to be adopted in LEGO (R) product in terms of popularity and music genre.
Also, helmets are a category in which the LEGO (R) Group is actively introducing new products, so this may also be a disadvantage in the review.
However, the metallic feel is futuristic and cool, so I hope it will pass the review!
