The LEGO® Ideas project, which turns LEGO® brick fans’ creations into products, has announced that “Beetlejuice” has advanced to the review stage.
If it passes the review, it will be released as a new LEGO® Ideas product between 2025 and 2026.
Beetlejuice
Confirmed to advance to the 3rd round of LEGO® Ideas product review in 2024 after gaining 10,000 supporters. Beetlejuice: Ghost House: LEGO IDEAS Official
A LEGO® brick creation of the mansion from the popular horror-comedy film “Beetlejuice,” known for the collaboration of Tim Burton and Michael Keaton, familiar from Batman.
The house, ghosts, and characters are all assembled.
Various scenes from the movie, such as the waiting room and attic, are recreated inside the house.
What are the chances of it becoming a product?
This is the first time for the creator, Jean_Jacket, to advance to the review stage.
While Beetlejuice is a famous work, it has never been made into a product as a regular LEGO® brick set.
It seems like it would be a good fit for LEGO® bricks, so it might become a product, but if they intended to make it, it might have been released from LEGO® Icons to coincide with the sequel’s release in September 2024.
The chances of passing the review might be fifty-fifty.
