“Bluey” has been confirmed to advance to the review (evaluation) stage of “LEGO® Ideas,” a project that turns LEGO® fan creations into products. If it passes the review, it will be released as a new LEGO® Ideas product between 2025 and 2026.

What kind of anime is Bluey?
Bluey is an Australian kids’ anime that has been airing since October 2018.
All characters are anthropomorphic dogs, and in the series, dogs live like humans. While in Japan, anthropomorphic dogs might be depicted as human-like characters with dog ears, Bluey’s characters look like actual dogs. The series portrays the heartwarming daily life of the protagonist Bluey with her family and friends.
As of Last Update(EST): , Bluey is available for streaming on Disney+.
How likely is it to become a product?
The creator, Monkey Scout, has advanced to the review stage for the third time. The previous two reviews also featured designs of Bluey’s house.
Bluey is a popular kids’ anime, and the slightly angular dog characters seem well-suited for LEGO® production. It’s almost surprising that it hasn’t been made into a LEGO® product yet.
In the LEGO® Ideas competition, many projects have succeeded in becoming products after multiple attempts, so Bluey, now on its third attempt, may have a chance of passing the review.
However, since LEGO® Ideas has essentially become an adult-oriented brand, like a second LEGO® Icons, it might be difficult for this project to be adopted this time as well.
If Bluey were to be made into a LEGO® product, it might be more likely as a LEGO® DUPLO set or as a new series for 4-year-olds, rather than through LEGO® Ideas.
