“Bob’s Old Tugboat” advances to the LEGO® Ideas review (evaluation) process, a project that turns LEGO® brick fan creations into official products.
If it passes the review, it will be released as a new LEGO® Ideas set between 2025 and 2026.

A LEGO® brick creation of a tugboat, a vessel that tows other ships. Named “Tugger 3,” it’s designed with the backstory of having towed cargo ships and cruisers for 35 years before retiring along with its captain.
The retired tugboat will undergo an overhaul by the captain and his wife, and it will be used for their private travels in the future.
The paint will also be beautifully redone.
After work, it’s time for a coffee break inside the boat.
What are the chances of it becoming a product?
This is the first time the creator Konajra has advanced to the review stage.
There have been quite a few LEGO® brick products with ship themes released recently, including the LEGO® Icons Titanic, LEGO® City Arctic Exploration Ship and Dock with Cargo Ship, and LEGO® Ideas Jaws.
Especially since LEGO® Ideas Jaws has just been released, it might be difficult for the tugboat to pass the review.

LEGO® Ideas’ sister project, the BrickLink Designer Program, has already produced a large fishing vessel through its initial crowdfunding effort. The tugboat might have a better chance of being realized through the BrickLink Designer Program[1].

If the projects that advanced to the 2024 Second Review pass the review, they are scheduled to be released as new LEGO(R) Ideas products in 2025-2026.
