The “Magical Bookends” project has advanced to the review (evaluation) stage of “LEGO® Ideas,” a project that turns LEGO® brick fans’ creations into products.
If it passes the review, it will be released as a new LEGO® Ideas product between 2025 and 2026.
Magical Bookends
Confirmed to advance to the 3rd LEGO® Ideas product review of 2024 after gaining 10,000 supporters. Magic Bookends: LEGO IDEAS Official
A landscape of buildings shaped like books. The round cobblestones are also cute. The theme is a magical world, and it comes with wizard and elf minifigures. The books have a spellbook-like atmosphere.
It can be split into left and right parts to be used as bookends.
View from the back. The green book at the edge has “The Lord of the Dots” written on it. Could it be an adventure story about LEGO® bricks, similar to The Lord of the Rings?
What are the chances of it becoming a product?
This is the 7th time the creator, Brick Dangerous, has advanced to the review stage.
The Magical Bookends also advanced to the 3rd review of 2021, but unfortunately, it didn’t pass.
Given the recent growth in e-book market share, the possibility of releasing bookends as a new product is not high. It might be difficult to pass the review this time as well.
