The project “LEGO® Ideas,” which turns creations from LEGO® block fans into products, has confirmed that “Lunar Landscape” has advanced to the review stage.
If it passes the review, it will be released as a new LEGO® Ideas product between 2025 and 2026.

The bottom part of the poster features designs of the moon’s phases and the Earth as seen from the moon.
The design also accommodates the lunar landscape as seen from the Southern Hemisphere. The pattern’s orientation appears different compared to the Northern Hemisphere view.
What are the chances of it becoming a product?
This is the second time the creator, SharkyBricks, has advanced to the review stage.
The same creator advanced to the First 2023 Review with an almost identical lunar design but did not pass.
This time, the accuracy has been improved compared to the previous work, and a mechanism to flip the moon for users in the Southern Hemisphere has been added.
Space is a category that’s difficult to get approved in LEGO® Ideas, partly because the LEGO® Group is actively developing space-themed sets on its own.
Furthermore, its similarity to the LEGO® Art concept and the fact that a flat space-themed set, “Tales of the Space Age (21340),” was released in May 2023 might work against it in the review. The chances of passing the review may not be very high.
Summary of 2024 Third Review Entries
If the projects that advanced to the 2024 third Review pass the review, they are scheduled to be released as new LEGO(R) Ideas products in 2025-2026.
