Let your imagination express Valentine’s Day!
Valentine’s Day isn’t just about giving chocolates or roses to friends; it’s also an opportunity to showcase your creativity by adding your own style to expressions of love and friendship.
This contest invites entries that express your personal interpretation of Valentine’s Day. Let your imagination run wild and freely express yourself: create a symbol of love, a heartfelt message, a sweet gift for someone special, or depict why Valentine’s Day is unique to you in a completely unexpected way.
Grand Prize: Official LEGO® Set
The grand prize winner’s creation will be developed into an official LEGO® Ideas product.
Additionally, the winner will receive 1% of the product’s net sales as royalties and 10 complimentary sets. They will also be credited as the fan designer within the product packaging.
Contest Schedule
The schedule for the “Build From the Heart” LEGO® Ideas Contest is as follows:

- Submission deadline: October 15, 2024, at 6:00 AM
- Judging period: The LEGO team will review entries and select up to 5 finalists by October 28, 2024
- Voting period: User voting from October 28 to November 4, 2024
- Results announcement: Grand prize winner to be announced by February 2025
Main Entry Requirements
- Part count: Maximum of 1000 pieces
- Bouquets or flower pots are not allowed as the main build, but can be used as decorations
- Must be an original new creation
- Up to 10 photos can be submitted (including all angles and features)
- Overlaying text or logos on images is prohibited
- Minor image editing using Photoshop or similar software is allowed
- Title and brief description are required
- Digital submissions using software like Studio are accepted

Judging Criteria
The LEGO® Ideas review team will use the following criteria when selecting candidates for voting:
- Overall coolness and originality: 25%
- Most inspired details: 15%
- Relevance to challenge theme: 45%
- Best use of LEGO elements: 15%
The submission deadline for entries is 6:00 AM Eastern Time on October 15, 2024.
