An unofficial LEGO® news account on social media has posted here about a new LEGO® set based on “Sherlock Holmes.” However, until there is an official announcement, this information should be considered unconfirmed.
According to the post, a new product style called a “Book Nook,” which has been rumored for some time, is expected to be released under the LEGO® Icons line. A Book Nook is a decorative, diorama-style art piece designed to be displayed between books on a shelf.
The Sherlock Holmes LEGO® Book Nook is believed to be themed around Baker Street and shaped like a book. Its surface resembles a book cover, featuring a decorative image of Sherlock Holmes holding a magnifying glass. The interior shows an external view of 221B Baker Street, Holmes’s residence, with cobblestone streets made using round LEGO tiles.
On social media, some fans have expressed a desire for a set that recreates the interior of 221B, but based on current information, this set appears to depict the building’s exterior.
The set is expected to include about five minifigures, one of which is Sherlock Holmes. Other figures may include key characters such as John Watson, Mrs. Hudson, and Professor Moriarty.
The Sherlock Holmes Book Nook is likely to be released in June. In addition to Holmes, Book Nook sets for LEGO® The Lord of the Rings and LEGO® Harry Potter are also expected to launch in June. Stay tuned for further updates on this new “Book Nook” series.
