Multiple SNS accounts that share unofficial LEGO® block product information have posted that a LEGO® block set based on the drama “Wednesday” will be released in October.
However, it’s important to note that this information is currently speculative and not confirmed.
Drama “Wednesday”
The drama “Wednesday” is a television series with Wednesday Addams from the Addams Family as the main character. It is directed and produced by Tim Burton, known for his unique style. It is currently streaming on Netflix.
First-Ever Series Merchandising?
While the Addams Family is a well-known franchise, it has never been merchandised in LEGO® blocks before.
In LEGO® Ideas competitions, where fan creations are considered for production, several Addams Family-related submissions, including Wednesday, have made it to the review stage multiple times but have yet to be approved.
Considering the popularity and recognition of the Addams Family franchise, it wouldn’t be surprising if it were eventually merchandised in LEGO® blocks, given its worthiness as a product.
At present, it is anticipated that three new products will be released in October, including playsets and Brick Heads.
Brick Heads are LEGO® block figures that depict characters from movies and dramas in a stylized manner.
It is speculated that one of the playsets will feature Wednesday’s dormitory and Enid’s room.
