An social media account specializing in unofficial LEGO® brick news posted about Transformers.
Could Bumblebee be getting a release?
At this point, it’s speculative information, but according to the same account, there’s a possibility that a LEGO® set featuring the character “Bumblebee” from the Transformers series could be released on July 1, 2024.
Bumblebee is a major character in the Transformers franchise, and in 2018, a movie titled “Bumblebee” was released.

Transformers is a property owned by Hasbro, a competitor of the LEGO® Group. However, in June 2022, a set featuring “Optimus Prime” from the same series was released under the LEGO® ICONS line targeted at adults.
The LEGO® ICONS Optimus Prime has 1508 pieces and can transform from robot to truck without disassembly.
LEGO(R)ICONS Optimus Prime 10302
Converts from robot to vehicle
Just like the beloved original, this Optimus Prime model converts from a robot to a truck and back again. Admire the 19 points of articulation in robot mode and open the chest chamber to store the Autobot Matrix of Leadership.
The estimated number of pieces for Bumblebee is 950, fewer than Optimus Prime. If it’s released, it’s expected to allow building both a car and a robot, although it’s unclear if it will transform automatically.
In the movie “Bumblebee,” the character primarily appears as a vintage Volkswagen Beetle. However, if it were to be produced now, it’s more likely that a different model, such as the Chevrolet Camaro seen at the end of the same movie, would be chosen.
As a side note, Hasbro’s “Peppa Pig” franchise is also set to be released in LEGO® DUPLO. So, the possibility of a LEGO® ICONS Bumblebee product seems quite plausible.
