According to the financial report, the top five best-selling LEGO® brick series in the first half of 2024 were LEGO® City, LEGO® Technic, LEGO® Icons, LEGO® Star Wars, and LEGO® Harry Potter.
Adult-oriented Products are Popular
Among the top five series, all except LEGO® City include products specifically designed for adults aged 18 and over in their lineup.
Adult-oriented products with strong collector’s item elements are a genre in which the LEGO® Group has been actively introducing new products in recent years. These products typically have a higher unit price than children’s playsets.
LEGO® Icons
LEGO® Icons is a brand exclusively for adult LEGO enthusiasts, featuring meticulously designed products across various genres including vehicles, buildings, movie characters, and ornamental plants.
The Modular Building sets, released once a year as part of the building series, and the automobile series are particularly popular among fans.
