The highly anticipated LEGO® Icons “U.S.S. Enterprise-D (NCC-1701-D)” set has received new detailed specifications posted on social media. However, these remain unconfirmed until an official announcement is made.
The current set is reported to measure approximately 30cm in length, but with an estimated piece count of around 3,600 parts, it’s likely to be larger than 30cm in reality. On the other hand, it’s unclear whether this will be minifigure scale, making it difficult to judge the actual size at this point.
The design is said to faithfully reflect the Starfleet imagery from the TV series, with the saucer section reportedly being detachable from the main body. This would recreate the show’s “separation” feature, where the saucer and engineering sections can split apart for tactical and safety reasons, allowing each section to operate independently.
Minifigures
The included minifigures and their accessories are expected to be as follows. However, this information is also unconfirmed and not from official sources.
- Worf: Gray piece (phaser or communicator)
- Data: Cat (his beloved pet Spot)
- Geordi La Forge: Gray piece (engineering toolkit or PADD)
- Riker: Yellow wind instrument (trombone)
- Captain Picard: Goblet (wine glass)
- Dr. Beverly Crusher: Gray piece (medical tricorder or hypospray)
- Guinan: Green bottle-shaped piece (beverage-related accessory)
- Deanna Troi: Gray piece (counseling PADD or psychological analysis device)
- Young Wesley Crusher: Gray piece (science experiment kit or modified learning terminal)
What About the Price?
Current predictions suggest that the LEGO® Icons “Enterprise” will be released during Black Friday 2025 and is expected to be priced at approximately $399.99. There’s also speculation about a shuttlepod being included as an early purchase bonus.
As of Last Update(EST): when this article was published, the LEGO® Icons “Lion Knights’ Castle (10305)” contains 4,514 pieces and is priced at $399.99 USD on the LEGO® Group’s official online store.
While the Enterprise is a licensed product, its estimated piece count of around 3,600 is somewhat lower than the Lion Knights’ Castle (10305), which could result in a slightly lower price point. However, fluctuations in trade policy make dollar pricing predictions difficult, and the $399.99 price point is far from certain.
