The “Library and Park” has advanced to the review stage of the LEGO® Ideas project, a platform that brings fan-created LEGO® designs to life as official products.
If approved, it is expected to be released as a new LEGO® Ideas set between 2025 and 2026.
Library and Park
This design, which secured 10,000 supporters, is confirmed to proceed to the 2024 LEGO® Ideas Product Review (Third Round). Modular Library and Park: LEGO IDEAS Official
A library with an attached park, featuring a building designed in the shape of a book. It includes connection pins similar to Modular Building sets.
The back of the building features a simple design with arranged windows.
Inside the building are rows of bookshelves. As is common in LEGO® products, tiles and rail plates are used to represent books.
What are the chances of being approved?
The creator, EmperorMango, has advanced to the review stage for the first time.
While non-licensed building designs are being adopted more frequently in recent LEGO® Ideas reviews, Modular Building-style creations remain a challenging category for approval.
The BrickLink Designer Program, a sister initiative of LEGO® Ideas, recently prohibited Modular Building designs from entering. This indicates that LEGO® Ideas guidelines might also change similarly, making it difficult for this project to pass the review.
