Multiple SNS accounts that share unofficial LEGO(R) block new product information have revealed new information regarding the purchase bonus for “The Lord of the Rings.” However, at present, this information remains speculative and is not confirmed.

It is anticipated that purchasers of the large-scale LEGO(R) set “Barad-dûr (10333),” potentially slated for release in June 2024, will receive a purchase bonus. Barad-dûr, meaning “Dark Tower,” is a colossal fortress built by the Dark Lord Sauron in Mordor within Middle-earth.
The details of the purchase bonus are currently unknown, but it is believed to be a set aimed at individuals aged 18 and above, consisting of 269 pieces.
The LEGO(R) set “Barad-dûr (10333)” from The Lord of the Rings, expected to be released in June, is speculated to comprise 5471 pieces, priced at $459.99 (approximately ¥70,000 as of April 5, 2024), and is expected to feature a massive tower exceeding 80 cm in height.
Recently, it has become common for large-scale sets priced around ¥40,000 to come with exclusive purchase bonuses, so it is not unlikely that a similar promotion will be offered for Barad-dûr.
What Kind of Bonus?
For the LEGO(R) set “Rivendell (10316),” released in March 2023, purchasers who were VIP members (currently known as Insiders members) received the “Frodo and Gollum (40630)” BrickHeadz as an additional gift.
The Frodo and Gollum BrickHeadz were previously available for regular purchase, but it is anticipated that the bonus distributed with Barad-dûr this time will not be a standard product; instead, it is expected to be a dedicated purchase bonus set.

It is still unknown whether Barad-dûr will be released and whether the exclusive bonus will actually become available for use. However, if it does happen, fans of The Lord of the Rings will have no choice but to purchase it upon its release.
