An unofficial LEGO® Star Wars news social media account has shared information about a potential new adult-oriented LEGO® Star Wars set coming in Summer 2025. However, nothing is confirmed until official announcements are made.
According to the post, the set will have the product number 75417, be aimed at ages 18+, and retail for $199.99.
Fan communities across social media and forums are buzzing with various theories about what the set might be. Some speculate it could be a scene from the popular series “The Mandalorian,” a new character figure collection, or even a building set similar to the Modular Building series. Many fans have also expressed interest in seeing a figure of General Grievous, the full-body cyborg known for hunting Jedi.
However, since 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” there’s speculation that it could be a commemorative set featuring Rey, the film’s protagonist.
For LEGO® Star Wars sets priced at $199.99 and targeted at 18+, the first thought is usually the Ultimate Collector Series (UCS). Traditionally, UCS sets feature spaceships, but the $199.99 price point is relatively low for a UCS set. This suggests it might instead be a more elaborate diorama set.
Recent UCS releases have typically launched in May (for LEGO® Star Wars Day) and October. Following this pattern, and given the August 2025 timeframe, this new set likely isn’t a UCS release but rather a diorama set. For reference, the 2024 UCS releases included the TIE Interceptor in May and Jabba’s Sail Barge in October, with no UCS sets in the August release window.
