LEGO® Gundam
Securing 10,000 supports guarantees entry into the first 2024 LEGO Ideas product review. LEGO GUNDAM: LEGO IDEAS Official
The Mobile Suit Gundam from the anime “Mobile Suit Gundam,” equipped with a beam rifle and shield.
The model of the Mobile Suit is the RX-78-2 piloted by Amuro Ray, equipped with a beam saber on its back.
You can move the joints and pose it. This pose is thought to be the scene where Amuro, who first rode the Gundam in the first episode, split the torso of the Zaku that was chasing him.
Seen from the back.
Shooting the beam rifle is also very Gundam-like.
What are the chances of being commercialized?
Designer legotruman has advanced to the review process more than 15 times, making him a regular participant in the LEGO® Ideas competition, where he has showcased numerous designs related to Japan.
This is likely the first time that a Gundam-related work has advanced to the LEGO® Ideas product review.
Speaking of robot anime works in LEGO® Ideas, “Voltron” was commercialized in 2018. It featured a mechanism where lion robots combine to form a large robot, similar to in the show.
Gundam is a hugely popular franchise, and robots are a popular category in LEGO® bricks, so we hope for its commercialization. If it is commercialized, we also want Amro Ray’s minifigure included.
