I want to write with action scene
To be honest, I’m not very familiar with Sesame Street, but I bought it with a cute building and a minifigure of characters.
I would like to write a review focusing on the features, assembly methods, and parts of the building that will be useful for MOC beginners like me.

Outlet box condition
The one I bought this time is an Amazon outlet product that is in very good condition but has some damage to the exterior. The inspection sticker is affixed and there are certainly some dents.

Two-building structure
Sesame Street consists of two buildings, the Hooper shop adjacent to the apartment.
The structure is weaker than that of the modular building series because the base plates are connected in an irregular shape instead of side by side. If you don’t carry it carefully, it will break easily.
Apartment
The front of the main apartment is tan block, but the sides are mainly dark red. The building recreated in Florida’s Sea World also has windows on the second floor above the front entrance door. This window was also included in the submitted design, but was omitted in the product version.
The back of the flowerbed is a lavender brick block. I saw lavender bricks for the first time. I think it’s mainly in the Friends series.
A place where rent is cheap even in Manhattan?
This apartment has a Manhattan-like appearance including the stairs at the entrance, but since it is a small two-story building, it may be in an area where the rent is relatively cheap for Manhattan.
Cheap rents in Manhattan are probably not very safe places, so when I used to live in NYC, the northern end near Bronx and the vicinity of Avenue A / B / C in East Village are likely.
A heavy double door is used at the entrance, and security measures are strengthened compared to ordinary apartments. It’s not easy to break through the entrance, so if it’s an action movie, it could be used as either the main character’s safe house or the villain’s hideout.
A stylish design with a window in the center of the base of the building where you can see the spider web inside. This window has ordinary vertical window parts placed horizontally with SNOT blocks. I would like to learn as many detailed techniques as possible and use them when building my own building in the future.
The stone decoration is wonderful
In the apartment, the railings and doors of the stairs, and the upper part of the window are decorated with SNOT of nougat parts to give a feeling of stone.
The lamp next to the door also has a glittering round block attached to the black SNOT parts. Beautiful design full of advanced feeling.
Stone tiles can be used as a hiding place
In action movies, such square stone decorations can often be removed in only one place.
Then, it will be a USB memory containing confidential data, a key for a safe deposit box, and a hiding place for small items. If the hero caught by the enemy has something to do with me, that USB memory will not be found, and so on.
Making a half-open window is cool!
All windows are American style and open up and down. If the width of the window is narrow, I think it is easier to use than the horizontal slide type that is often found in Japan.
The SNOT block is used for the open lower window frame, but I wasn’t sure what happened to the side studs during assembly.
Finally, I installed green tiles there as well as the green frame of the window. Then there is a green window frame and it looks like only the window part is lifted up. be moved!
Around the apartment
There is also a window on the side of the apartment where milk is placed. Is it the setting that the bird delivery person delivers here? The aviary under the window is also a simple but cute design.
I don’t know what the back door of the basin on the first floor is for. The door parts are big door parts, so I might have been happy if I had another one.
Both Sesame Street and 123 signs are printed tiles.
Fire escape
On the left side of the front, there is an emergency staircase called Fire Escape, which is often seen in New York apartments. This staircase does not reach the ground like the real thing. Ladder parts are fixed with a plate with a clip.
In the actual building, a ladder is installed at the bottom of the stairs to get down to the ground. The ladder is usually raised, but in an emergency it seems that firefighters will lower it.
A classic escape route in action movies
In an action movie, Fire Escape is a standard route used by the hero who was attacked by an evil organization or the criminal who was stepped into the FBI when escaping.
However, since the stairs are only up to the second floor, you will have to jump at the end, but this height seems to be quite difficult for ordinary people to jump off. A well-trained Statham will do the trick.
Interior on the 1st floor of the apartment
The door is full of profound feeling even when viewed from the back, and the installation method is also unique. I want to imitate.
Furniture such as fishbowl, toy rocket and train, white and blue chests is also cute.
I didn’t put a sticker on it because I don’t put a sticker on it, but this set uses a lot of stickers on posters on the wall, so if you want to enjoy watching it for a while, you should put a sticker on it.
Inside the bed were frog face parts that were difficult for me as a MOC beginner to use. I feel the same even if I use an ordinary square block, but it may not cost much.
Interior on the 2nd floor of the apartment
The second floor has two single beds and a sofa. The square lamp is cool. Dinosaurs on the shelves.
The bathtub uses a curved angle block sideways, and the shower head is fixed by sticking the handle of the paint roller into the wall. It will be very educational for MOC beginners like me.
rooftop
The rooftop is a chimney, an antenna, a pigeon hut, and a UFO. The UFO isn’t fixed on the studs, it’s just placed, so I thought it was going to disappear, but it really disappeared while I was carrying it.
The pigeon’s hut also has ordinary window parts fixed sideways with SNOT to complete a realistic hut.
If it’s an action movie
What position would this building be in if it appeared in an action movie?
Keep in mind that it’s just my own imagination , but I’d like you to read this apartment because it’s a facility where children live together for some reason. looks like.
As far as crime dramas are concerned, such facilities are prone to commotion, so strong male staff may be able to get to work without snooping on their identities. I think it is suitable for hiding places.
The criminal was thinking of stealing money from the facility or taking the children hostage in the event of an emergency, but there seems to be a story that he changed his mind and appeared at the FBI while interacting with the children in the facility.
Is Sesame Street really there?
I want to write a little about Sesame Street before going to Hooper’s shop.
Sesame Street in the program is set somewhere in Manhattan, New York, but it is just a fictitious place.
However, on May 1, 2019, in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Sesame Street broadcasting, New York City officially named the street extending east from the intersection of 63rd Street West of Manhattan and Broadway as Sesame Street.
This place was chosen because the Sesame Workshop, which produces Sesame Street, has been based in this area since 1969.
Hooper’s shop appearance
Hooper’s shop features orange exterior walls and arched windows. A design that makes it possible to study the signboard that protrudes diagonally so that it can be applied to making works. I think again, it’s definitely better to put a sticker on this set (I didn’t put it).
I saw this corner part for the first time
Rounded corner parts are used for the corners of the tent that protrudes upstairs, but I saw this part for the first time.
When I looked it up, there are still few sets included in the relatively new parts introduced in 2020. Mickey & Minnie, which I have piled up, also has different colors and is used for the corners of the camera.
Looking at the modular building series so far, there is no product with a tent in the corner. For curves other than tents, there were many methods of horizontally attaching curve blocks used for beds and the like. Isn’t this the first part that expresses a curve from three directions?
This shop seems to be a general store, but there is also a counter for selling juice. There are tables outside, but in action movies, outdoor tables in cafes and restaurants are often used as places to come into contact with criminals.
In a larger cafe with tables around, other investigators also wait at another table to monitor. There is only one table in this shop, but you may be able to pretend to be a passerby on the rooftop or in the surrounding area.

The second floor of the store is a living space featuring a sofa and a TV. The TV is a cathode ray tube and has VHS printed tiles.
I missed VHS so much that I remembered the old days and almost cried. When I was a kid, all video rentals were VHS. At home, I used to record Jackie Chan movies in 3x mode.
Minifigures
Sesame Street has attractive characters, so I think many people bought this set for minifigs.
I was so curious about the position of the residents of the Sesame Street apartment, where everyone looks like a child, so I looked it up, but couldn’t find a site that clearly stated that.
I do not understand the characteristics of each character, but it expresses the diversity of races and ways of thinking. However, the detailed settings may not have been officially announced.
